Rick Couldry serves as Senior Vice President, Chief Pharmacy and Clinical Officer at Omnicell, a role he assumed in April 2026. In this newly created executive position, Rick serves as Omnicell’s senior clinical authority and the voice of health system pharmacy leaders ensuring real-world healthcare clinician needs are at the center of shaping the company’s strategy, innovation priorities, and portfolio decisions. He plays a critical role in translating health system insights into clinical guidance, thought leadership, and enterprise direction, strengthening Omnicell’s position as the most trusted partner to pharmacy leaders and advancing the future of autonomous medication management. Rick brings decades of experience leading large, complex academic and integrated health systems, most recently as Vice President of Pharmacy and Health Professions at The University of Kansas Health System. Across his career, he has overseen billion-dollar pharmacy and clinical operations, led organizations of more than 1,900 team members, and managed enterprise budgets exceeding $1.1 billion. He has a proven track record of scaling specialty pharmacy, infusion, and diagnostic services; driving operational turnarounds; and delivering sustained growth while improving patient outcomes. Rick has served as a Fellow of ASHP since 2017, and holds a master’s degree in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the University of Kansas, and bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
