Unit Dose Printing System

Produce High-Quality, Barcoded Foil Label Sheets Quickly and Efficiently

The Omnicell® Unit Dose Printing System meets the unique labeling needs of a long-term care pharmacy by providing labeled foil sheets to use when sealing single-dose blister cards. It is the only unit dose foil label printing system designed specifically for pharmacy operations.

The user simply scans the medication's NDC barcode and enters the lot number and expiration date. Additional customization is possible, including providing alternate drug names and other custom fields. Changing to 1/2 tabs and 1/4 tabs, for example, is a simple process with custom field editing.

The system allows a pharmacy to produce up to 18 sheets per minute. Efficiency is increased further by the multiview printing feature, which enables simultaneous viewing, editing, and printing of labels for up to three printers. A printable production report is available to track daily packaging activity and ultimately optimize pharmacy workflow.
