Randall A. Lipps
Randall A. Lipps founded Omnicell in September 1992 and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors since that time. He assumed the additional role of President and Chief Executive Officer in 2002 and has provided the leadership for Omnicell's business expansion. After taking on the day-to-day operations of the company, he brought in a well-known Silicon Valley management team and has focused the company on growth and technology leadership. Since 2003, Omnicell has been recognized as one of the top 150 Silicon Valley companies, as measured by market capitalization, by the San Jose Mercury News. Prior to founding Omnicell, Mr. Lipps served as the Senior Vice President at ST Holdings, a travel and marketing company. He received a B.S. in Economics and a B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
Joanne Bauer has served as a Director of Omnicell since January 2014. Ms. Bauer is president of global health care at Kimberly-Clark. She joined Kimberly-Clark in 1981 and has held various marketing and management positions within its adult care and health care businesses. She was elected president of Kimberly-Clark’s global health care business in 2006, where she is responsible for a variety of surgical and infection prevention products and medical devices. Ms. Bauer leads multispecialty businesses across the pain management, respiratory, digestive health and infection prevention sectors. She served on the board of directors for Medivance, Inc., a startup medical device company that was sold to BARD in October of 2011. Ms. Bauer currently serves on the executive committee of the board of directors for MedShare, an Atlanta based non-profit organization, and the board of directors of AdvaMed—the Advanced Medical Technology Association.
James T. Judson
James T. Judson has served as a Director of Omnicell since April 2006. Mr. Judson joined Omnicell in February 2005 as Vice President, Finance and was appointed Executive Vice President, Finance, and Chief Financial Officer in April of that year. He then served as Omnicell’s Vice President, Corporate Development from March through July of 2006. Mr. Judson has over 20 years of financial management experience, most of it with Sun Microsystems, Inc., a computer software and platform company. He served as Vice President of Finance and Planning for the worldwide operations group of Sun Microsystems from 1998 until his retirement from the company in January 2002. Mr. Judson received a B.S. in Industrial Management from Purdue University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Indiana University.
Vance Moore has served as a director of Omnicell since May 2012. Mr. Moore is senior vice president—operations of Mercy Health. Vance joined Mercy Health in April 2002 after 17 years in health care with Baxter/Allegiance, Cardinal Health and the health care division of the UPS Logistics Group. His career has included operational and sales roles in health care consulting, distribution, manufacturing, third party logistics and provider operations. Mr. Moore has a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from the University of Arkansas.
Mark Parrish joined the Omnicell Board in January 2013. Mr. Parrish is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TridentUSA Health Services. He also serves as a Senior Advisor at Frazier Healthcare Ventures. His previous positions include Chief Executive Officer for Healthcare Supply Chain Services of Cardinal Health Inc., Chief Executive Officer Director of Pharmaceutical Distribution and Provider Services of Cardinal Health Inc. and President and Chief Operating Officer of Supply Chain Services of Cardinal Health Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Parrish held several leadership positions in Cardinal Health's pharmaceutical distribution and pharmacy-franchising units. Mr. Parrish is a director at Mylan Corporation (MYL) and is the Chairman of the Board of Silvergate Pharmaceuticals. He also serves as the President and CEO of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers. Mr. Parrish is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
Gary S. Petersmeyer
Gary S. Petersmeyer has served as a Director of Omnicell since January 2007. Mr. Petersmeyer is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aesthetic Sciences Corporation, a research-based medical device company focusing on elective surgery applications. Prior to joining Aesthetic Sciences Corporation in 2004, he provided consulting and executive coaching services to senior executives in high-growth and research-based organizations. Previously, Mr. Petersmeyer was President and a Director of Pherin Pharmaceuticals, and he was President, Chief Executive Officer, and a Director of Collagen Corporation, a medical technology company focused on worldwide collagen research. Before that, Mr. Petersmeyer held several senior executive positions at Syntex Corporation, Beta Phase, Inc., and Coopervision, Inc. Mr. Petersmeyer has a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University, an M.A. in Teaching from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. Mr. Petersmeyer also serves on the boards of Percys, Inc. and RoxRo Pharmaceuticals.
Bruce D. Smith
Bruce D. Smith has served as a director of Omnicell since May 2014. Mr. Smith is Senior Vice President of Information Systems and Chief Information Officer for Advocate Health Care, an integrated health care system based in Oak Brook, Illinois. His division supports a network of financial and clinical applications that have been integrated to share information throughout the Advocate system. Previously Mr. Smith was Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Lutheran General HealthSystem. Mr. Smith began his career with Sears in 1969, where he became involved in the development of computer programs in the merchandising division. He served with the U.S. Army, becoming a Staff Sergeant in the First Calvary Division in the Republic of Viet Nam. He is a member of Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS); the HIMSS Chicago CIO Roundtable; and the Scottsdale Institute. Mr. Smith received his Bachelor of Business degree from Western Illinois University and his MBA degree from Loyola University Chicago.
Sara J. White
Sara J. White has served as a Director of Omnicell since April 2003. Ms. White is a Clinical Professor in the School of Pharmacy at the University of California, San Francisco. Previously, she served as Director of Pharmacy and Administrative Director for Clinical Nutrition at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. Before that, Ms. White was Program Director in an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited specialty residency in hospital pharmacy administration. She received a B.S. from Oregon State University and an M.S. in Hospital Pharmacy Management from Ohio State University. Ms. White is a Fellow of ASHP.
