Welcome to our continuing education Web site for healthcare professionals serving multiple sites of care, supported by Omnicell, Inc. Programs have been created with the counsel of leading professionals in hospitals, health systems, clinics, and specialty care sites such as long-term and extended care.

The site features resources designed to enhance your knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of the latest issues related to the role of automation at healthcare facilities to help decrease costs, enhance operating efficiency, reduce medication errors and improve patient care.

In addition, this site serves as your gateway to other educational and information resources in support of clinicians and disciplines responsible for managing and implementing automation systems.

National Accreditation for Pharmacy and Nursing Professionals

Continuing education programs offer national accreditation for pharmacists and nurses who successfully complete the required post-tests. Accreditation for pharmacy professionals is provided by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE); accreditation for nursing professionals is awarded through the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC), as well as California Board of Registered Nursing.

In addition, Omnicell supports educational programs at association conferences to help professionals meet their certification requirements such as members the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM).

Successful completion of these online continuing education programs may also assist your organization in meeting training requirements of the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), as well as your organization's internal training guidelines.
